First Step

Separate our neighbor's horses from our pasture!

From the West side of the property, the cars you see are near Rude Road.  The red flags are marking wetland areas.  The property is a short five acres but if you include the county setbacks, it is 5 acres.

This is looking toward Clear Creek Road.

Locating the first fence post at Rude Road.  Exposing their best sides are Herb Kai with shovel in hand, Lee Metcalf wearing suspenders and Joe Sanford pulling on some barbed wire.

Typical construction workers.  One working, two watching!

Being relieved by Al Dillan, Herb takes a break.

Supervisor Sanford, as usual is talking.  Of course his employees are paying close attention.

Now Bob Hoskins has joined the party and the assistant superindendent, Al Dillan is giving directions (which no one is taking). You notice no poles yet showing.

The first post being located and installed.  Four hours later, 600 feet of fence was installed and ready to power up.  The next time this photographer get near the site, you'll be able to see the completed job.

The final result.  600 feet of fence in about 4 hours.

Stay tuned for Step 2 and beyond!

The next project is to keep the land mowed and to start clearing some of the growth near Clear Creek.
